For every Tom-made heart sold, Tom donates 10 heart rocks to a local school to use as tools for spreading love, kindness, and meaningful connection (a sneaky, gentle form of mental health awareness and creating moments that save lives).

Tom has made over 25,000 heart rocks (over 8,000 hours of carving!) to remind people that they matter, and to cope with his own struggles living with bipolar disorder. Rock carving and spreading love and kindness is his art therapy and way of reminding himself that he matters, too.
Tom receives hundreds of requests each year from individuals who are battling thoughts of self-harm. When you purchase one of Tom’s hearts, you enable him to give one to a deserving individual.
The cost of each heart will vary based on its material. For example, dinosaur bone costs $80/lb and a rock Tom found while hiking is free.
